Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights activist, author, model and actor. Her films are Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). The daughter of a family of artists located in New York she wished to work in the field of art. Beginning she began as an photographer's assistant. Then, her career shifted towards modeling and directing. The actress was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being a promising actor. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned her fame worldwide and also as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. After just three short films MacGraw was named the most successful female at the box office in history. At Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she had her signature and hand-footprints engraved. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television show The Winds of War. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was divorced three times.
