Sharni Vison, who is an American-born Australian dancer and actress was born 22 July 1983, in Sydney Australia. Her first acting role occurred in 2001 when she was requested to appear in the Australian Soap soap opera Home and Away where she had a minor role in two episodes of the series. Because of her outstanding performance that she was given the chance to play the leading parts. However, she auditioned for the part but wasn't picked. In the series she played the character Cassie Turner which was an unruly teenager who was in foster care. Her character was highly appreciated by the fans and critics of the show.
