Tina Louise was an American actress, performer, and writer, best recognized as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. Her acting career began in stage shows during the 1950s starting with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. After that, she performed in several Broadway shows before becoming a star on national stage alongside Li'l Abner in. The same year, She made her debut album, It's time for Tina. Louise was first seen on the screen in Hollywood in God's Little Acre which was a dramatic which was made in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda the main character of the film. During this time she began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship to Lee Strasberg as his student. Louise joined CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise continued to have a successful professional career balancing Broadway TV with Hollywood and portraying somber rather than her glamour-doll image received.
