Cecily Legler Strong has been a renowned American performer, comedian and a member of the cast for Saturday Night Live. Her first stage experience was in theater, but was drawn to comedy when she was nine when she took a class in Improv. Her initial goal was to become an actor, but then realized she had a talent for comedy. The focus of her professional career moved from acting towards the improv. She started her career on cruise vessels with friends from Second City Conservatory, iO Chicago as well as other improv groups. Strong is still performing at a variety of popular shows, such as Chicago Sketch Fest. The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. New York Sketchfest. Also, Virgin Daiquiri. Virgin Daiquiri is an all female Improv troupe. Strong made her mark in 2012 when she appeared on 'Saturday Night Live' in its 39th Season as a cast member who was featured co-anchoring on the Weekend Update segment first with Seth Meyers and later with Colin Jost. Her most memorable performance was when she portrayed the role of "The girl that you'd rather not have started an argument with at a celebration'. She first made an appearance as a film star in the movie that was also titled "How to make money from the Uterus".
